Actor-filmmaker Raghava Lawrence, who is a self-proclaimed die hard fan of Rajinikanth, has shared pics with his idol saying that he is getting to spend sometime with him after months.

Raghava took to his Instagram handle to share the special moment. More than their films, the duo shares a spiritual connection as their respective lives and careers took a crucial turning point following their devotion to 16th-century saint Raghavendra.

Raghava Lawrence's love for Rajinikanth is profuse both on and off screen. The choreographer-turned-filmmaker has displayed his admiration for Rajinikanth on-screen by emulating his mannerisms.

On the workfront, Raghava Lawrence announced in September that the fourth installment of his Kanchana franchise will begin production soon. That apart, he has a big lineup including Adhigaram, Benz, Bullet, Kala Bhairava, and Hunter.

Rajinikanth, last seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj's Coolie, is set to collaborate with his contemporary Kamal Haasan for a new film over four decades of their previous collaboration Alavuddinum Athbutha Vilakkum (1979). Rajini awaits the release of Jailer 2, the sequel to Jailer, directed by Nelson.
