Earlier, we reported about Dude producer, Mythri Movie Makers, announcing that the Pradeep Ranganathan-Mamitha Baiju starrer has grossed over 100 crore from theatres worldwide. A while ago, Pradeep took to social media to express his gratitude to the audience for helping the film achieve the milestone. Actor Vishnu Vishal, who is coming back as a cop hunting a serial killer in Aaryan, quote-tweeted Pradeep's post and congratulated the latter on the achievement. "Congrats brother Pradeep Ranganathan on this HATTRICK. NOT EASY AT ALLL !!!!" wrote Vishnu.

For the uninitiated, the Keerthiswaran directorial is reportedly the third consecutive film in Pradeep's career to gross over 100 crore at the global box office. Earlier, he starred in Love Today and Dragon.

Mythri Movie Makers claimed that Dude has emerged as the winner in the box office battle on Diwali between three biggies, the other two being Mari Selvaraj's Bison, starring Dhruv Vikram, and Diesel featuring Harish Kalyan and Athulya Ravi. Earlier, Pradeep described it as a small Diwali film with a special social message. The other day, the film's director Keerthiswaran said that its themes are not new to Tamil Nadu and have been passed on from elders.

The film also stars Sarathkumar, Neha Shetty, Rohini, and Hridhu Haroon, among others.
