The makers of the actors Sarath Kumar and Shanmuga Pandian's Kombuseevi, directed by Ponram, dropped the first single from the film 'Unna Naan Paatha' on Thursday.

The melody number is sung by the film's composer, Yuvan Shankar Raja, with Yugabharathi penning the lyrics.

Kombuseevi also stars Kaali Venkat, Kalki Raja, and Tharnika in supporting roles. On the technical front, Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the film's score, Balasubramaniem handled cinematography, Dinesh Ponnuraj took charge of editing, and Phoenix Prabhu and Saravana Sakthi choreographed the film's action sequences.

Reportedly, Kombuseevi draws inspiration from real events that transpired around 1996 in the Usilampatti and Andipatti regions, promising a raw and authentic narrative rooted in history, where Rokkapuli (Sarath Kumar) and Pandi (Shanmuga Pandian) work as bomb makers to safeguard their village from a Pakistani attack.

Sarath Kumar recently appeared in the film Dude, starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju. Meanwhile, Shanmuga Pandian's last film, Padai Thalaivan, was released in June of this year.

Kombuseevi is yet to get a release date.
