Dhruv Vikram drops video of his intense training for Bison, producer calls him 'Man of Steel'

A while ago, Dhruv Vikram took to Instagram to share a video of him preparing for his role in Bison, the latest Mari Selvaraj directorial. "The road remembers...," he wrote as the caption for the video post. The video shows him running in preparation for his role in the film, where he plays a Kabaddi player with ambitions to represent the national team. As he runs in full sweat, bare feet, and along a moving bus at almost its speed, someone from inside the vehicle tells him to go faster. Netizens who commented on the video praised his dedication for the role.

Bison producer Aditi Anand of Neelam Studios shared the video as a Story on her Instagram profile and wrote, "Man of steel training to be Bison," followed by a fire emoticon.

Earlier, one of the film's lead actors, Anupama Parameswaran praised Dhruv's commitment to the role of a Kabaddi player, based on Arjuna Award winner Manathi Ganesan. Anupama said that her co-star showed complete dedication to his role, requiring much endurance, discipline and physical strength. Manathi Ganesan, on whom Bison is based, also appreciated the actor's dedication for the role and his performance in the film.
