The second week of Bigg Boss Tamil 9 began on a chaotic note as the housemates devised a plan to annoy the Super Deluxe house members by banging utensils and shouting loudly to wake them up. What started as a prank quickly spiralled into a series of heated confrontations among the contestants.
The most talked-about clash of the day involved VJ Parvathy, popularly known as Paaru. During the week’s nomination process, she received the highest number of votes—14—and was nominated alongside Kamruddin, Aurora, FJ, Ramya, Apsara, Sabarinathan, Kemy, and Diwakar.
Interestingly, before the nominations, Parvathy had been given the opportunity to move to the Super Deluxe house, joining Diwakar and Aadhirai. However, despite the switch, she did not receive the nomination-free pass and ended up topping the nomination list.
After becoming a luxury member, Paaru’s assertive behaviour began to rub others the wrong way. The situation escalated when she sat on the kitchen counter, ignoring repeated requests and demands from Kani Thiru and house captain Tusshar to step down. The issue soon snowballed into a major conflict, with 17 housemates standing united against her.
Despite the pressure, Paaru stood her ground and later tried to explain her perspective calmly. When the housemates refused to eat until she apologised, she eventually said “sorry”, stating that she did not want to carry the guilt of making others go hungry because of her ego.
Adding to her challenges, Paaru also had a disagreement with Diwakar, one of the few people who had supported her in the house. Their argument began when she tried to explain her side, but Diwakar repeatedly defended his actions, which frustrated her. After a brief fallout, Diwakar walked away, though the two appeared to reconcile later in the episode.
