One of the many films releasing on Diwali this year is director Keerthiswaran's Dude, starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles. At its audio launch earlier today, Pradeep spoke about what the film is all about and what it means to him. The actor described it as "a simple, small film" made for the festival occasion with entertainment values, comedy and fights. He went on to add, "Beyond the trailer, the film has a strong social message. The director has tried to say something with the film. I think it will be a strong message that is relevant for the times we live in today."

According to Pradeep Ranganathan, the film's altruistic qualities will make it relatable to people of a similar mindset. "Dude is a cool character, one who draws satisfaction from others' happiness," he said.

Pradeep expressed his gratitude to his admirers as well. "I will not be here if not for you," he said. The actor also shared that he has been watching a film every Diwali until now, and that he feels happy celebrating it this time with the audience. "It feels like I am a part of your family now," he shared.

Dude also stars R Sarathkumar, Rohini, Hridhu Haroon, and Neha Shetty, among others. It is set to clash with Bison and other films at the box office this Diwali.
