Day 4 inside the Bigg Boss Tamil 9 house was packed with drama, fights, and emotional moments. The day began with a heated argument between Diwakar and Kamruddin over water usage. Diwakar was seen drawing water from the tank without seeking permission from Kamruddin, the designated water supervisor. When questioned, Diwakar retorted that he didn’t feel the need to take permission from someone who had disrespected him, leading to a never-ending argument.

Later, Bigg Boss gathered all the housemates in the living area to show them footage of their collective failure in the water task, where a significant amount of water was wasted. With only 50 litres of water left for the entire house, after Kamruddin and Sabarinathan failed to notice the water buzzer nearly five times, Bigg Boss reprimanded them. Although the contestants were later allowed to refill water for the next captaincy task, the issue reignited as the housemates debated Kamruddin and Sabari’s negligence.

While Kamruddin initially took responsibility, he soon clashed with Aadhirai, who repeatedly pointed out that he should not have slept during his shift as the water supervisor. The heated exchange eventually calmed down after other contestants intervened. However, tensions between the two reportedly flared up again on Day 5.

The day’s next major event was the second round of the captaincy task. Contestants Tusshar, Praveen Raj Dev, Kemy, Parvathy, Nandhini, Aadhirai, Sabarinathan, and Apsara CJ were qualified to compete. The task required them to pick dirty jeans, fill water from the tank, wash the jeans, and hang them to dry. The first five to complete the task would move forward, after which the super deluxe members were to judge and select the top three.

During the task, Parvathy sparked controversy by fetching water before picking up the jeans, which others deemed a rule violation. A physical tussle broke out between Kemy and Parvathy, causing Parvathy’s bucket to spill. Despite managing to hang her jeans, Parvathy did not make it to the top three, while Kemy also failed to qualify. Upset, Parvathy accused Kemy of being unsporting and defended her move by claiming she was unaware of the rule.

Eventually, Tusshar, Praveen Raj Dev, and Aadhirai emerged as the top three contestants eligible for the captaincy race.

The episode ended on an emotional note when Nandhini broke down in tears after a few housemates teased her by mimicking her mannerisms. Deeply hurt, she became inconsolable until Kani Thiru stepped in to comfort her and urged others not to mock Nandhini, even in jest, going forward.
