On day 2 of Bigg Boss Tamil 9, at night, Kalaiyarasan opened up to his fellow housemates about the real reason for his Bigg Boss entry. The contestant confidently said that he doesn't want to win the trophy while also listing his past achievements.
He said, "I didn't come to Bigg Boss to win the trophy. I already have no place to keep the trophies I've won so far. I have come here to change my identity. My children are being denied admission to school, as they're being looked at as Aghori's wards. I have come to Bigg Boss to change myself and my identity for the sake of my family and children."
A former Aghori, Kalaiyarasan also mentioned that he was recognised as a Youth Ambassador to the United Nations International Youth Society and Sustainable Development Goals. He further said that he has received an honorary doctorate, along with detailing his milestones and Guinness records for his folk art performances.
As per his social media profile, he is the founder of the Giramiya Puthalvan Academy. He is known for his record-breaking achievements, including performing Karagattam with needles through his eyelids. He reportedly became an Aghori after a spiritual awakening but now wants to change his identity.
This week, in the first nomination process for the season, Kalaiyarasan received 12 votes, becoming the most nominated person for eviction. He was followed by Diwakar with seven votes.
