The latest song from Mari Selvaraj's Bison, titled 'Thennadu', has achieved a milestone, with its video gaining one million views since its release on YouTube. On the occasion, its singer, Satyan Mahalingam thanked Mari Selvaraj for supporting him to lend his voice to the track. In a video he shared on his Instagram handle, Satyan said that he feels so emotional following the positive reception for the song and that he is short of words of gratitude for it. Eventually, he thanked Mari Selvaraj for giving him the opportunity to sing the track. In his gratitude note, Satyan also mentioned Bison composer Nivas K Prasanna as well as Think Music's representative and his "dear brother" Santhosh. The playback singer, who recently went viral after an old video of his stage rendition of 'Roja Raja' from Kadhalar Dhinam resurfaced, said that Mari vouched for him "strongly" for the song. The playback singer also said that a mere "Thank You" from him does not encapsulate the emotions he feels about the song and its reception.

Before he gets overcome with emotions towards the end of the video, Satyan Mahalingam said that he suspected whether he would be able to make it big in the film industry. "After all these years, I thought I would fade out," he said before he thanked everyone for 'Thennadu', which he describes as a "wonderful song".

The song marks Satyan Mahalingam's comeback after a long gap.

Bison stars Dhruv Vikram, Anupama Parameswaran, Lal, Rajisha Vijayan, Azhagam Perumal, and Pasupathy, among others. The film is slated for an October 17 release in theatres.
