After the hit 'Adi Alaye' single that established playful romantic portions between Sivakarthikeyan and Sreeleela in their upcoming film Parasakthi, the second single 'Ratnamala' showcases them taking their relationship to the next step. The soulful and heartwarming number brings to the screen the lead pair's blossoming romance. The duo are seen truly cherishing spending time together in each others' company. GV Prakash Kumar has lent his voice to sing the melodious number. It has lyrics by Jayashree Mathimaran. The behind-the-scenes video also shows choreographer Brindha teaching the lead actors dance moves for the song.

Set in the 1960s, Parasakthi, directed by Sudha Kongara, is a period film that reportedly revolves around the Anti-Hindi agitations in Tamil Nadu that happened in 1965. Besides Sivakarthikeyan and Sreeleela, Ravi Mohan dons the antagonist role in the film, a first in his career while Atharvaa will also be seen playing a key role. The film is also expected to feature Rana Daggubati, although the makers have not confirmed his casting. Parasakthi also marks Sreeleela's Tamil debut. Details regarding the lead actors' roles are currently unknown.

Parasakthi is Sudha Kongara's fourth film after DrohiIrudhi Suttru, and Soorarai Potru. Sudha has written the film along with Arjun Nadesan, with additional screenplay by Ganeshaa and dialogues by Madhan Karky and Shan Karuppusamy.

GV Prakash Kumar is composing music for the film, reuniting with Sudha Kongara after Soorarai Potru, with lyrics written by Yugabarathi, Ekadesi, Arivu, Kaber Vasuki, Jayashree Mathimaran, Ramajogayya Sastry, and Bhaskar Batla.

The crew of the film includes Ravi K Chandran as the cinematographer, Sathish Surya as the editor, S Annadurai as the art director, and Supreme Sundar as the action choreographer. Aakash Baskaran is producing the film under his Dawn Pictures banner. Dev Ramnath is serving as the creative producer along with MP Senthel and Rhea Kongara as serving as executive producers. Red Giant Movies are distributing the film. With post production and dubbing in full swing, Parasakthi is gearing up for a release on January 14, 2026.
