After receiving positive responses for Parasakthi's first single 'Adi Alaye', director Sudha Kongara and composer GV Prakash Kumar are all set to bring the next song to audiences. In a surprise announcement on Wednesday, GV Prakash announced that Yuvan Shankar Raja joined the team to sing for Parasakthi's next single while posting pictures from collaborative session. The upcoming film is headlined by Sivakarthikeyan, Sreeleela and Ravi Mohan and is slated for a release on January 14, 2026.
Following GV Prakash's ecstatic social media post, Sudha Kongara shared a nostalgic and emotional post on Yuvan's childhood. Calling it a "memory for life", the filmmaker wrote, "What a day!!!! The kid who would chase Bavata (Bhavatharini) and me when we were doing Mitr for making us listen to his tape of compositions to today singing for my film! Life’s come a full circle. Thank u Yuvan for making GV 100 so special and Parasakthi‘s most beautiful number a banger!!!! And for bringing to life the stunning lyrics of Yugabhaarathi."
