Anupam Kher meets Sai Pallavi, calls her "real, affectionate, spontaneous"

Sai Pallavi's 2024 hit film Amaran, co-starring Sivakarthikeyan, was selected as the opening feature film in the Indian Panorama section at IFFI Goa

Veteran actor Anupam Kher recently ran into Sai Pallavi at the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) which is currently ongoing in Goa. Kher shared that during their brief encounter, he found Sai Pallavi to be real, affectionate, spontaneous, and courteous.

He took to his social media handles to share a photo with her, saying, "I was delighted to run into beautiful Sai Pallavi at IFFI Goa. In our brief meeting she came across as real, affectionate, spontaneous & courteous!! That she is extremely talented actress, I know! Wishing her good luck for all her forthcoming ventures! Jai Ho!"

Sai Pallavi's 2024 hit film Amaran, co-starring Sivakarthikeyan, was selected as the opening feature film in the Indian Panorama section at the festival. It was also nominated for the Golden Peacock Award under the International Competition. The actor went to Goa, along with director Rajkumar Periyasamy, Sivakarthikeyan, Kamal Haasan and Mahendran who produced the film under their banner Raaj Kamal Films International. The film is a biopic of Major Mukund Varadarajan. Sai Pallavi plays his wife Indhu Rebecca Varghese.

On the other hand, Anupam Kher-starrer Calorie, helmed by Indo-Canadian filmmaker Eisha Marjara, will be screened at the Cinema of the World section at the ongoing festival. He also recently announced that he has started shooting for his next film, a family drama with director Sooraj Barjatya, which will mark Anupam’s 549th film in his long career. He also directed and starred in Tanvi the Great this year.
