Recently seen in Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, Kalyani Priyadarshan is all set to headline a new Tamil film, which will also stars Devadarshini and Vinoth Kishan. The filming commenced on Wednesday with a pooja ceremony in Chennai.

Thiraviyam SN will make his directorial debut with the upcoming film, which has a screenplay and dialogues written by Pravin Bhasker and Sree Kumar, along with Thiraviyam. The yet-to-be-titled film is produced by SR Prakash Babu, SR Prabu, P Gopinath, and Thangaprabaharan R under the Potential Studios banner.

On the technical front, Justin Prabhakaran is composing music, while the rest of the crew consists of Gokul Benoy as the cinematographer, Aral R Thangam as the editor, and Mayapandi as the production designer.

With this film, Kalyani Priyadarshan continues her string of Tamil projects, with Genie and Marshal also in the pipeline. Genie is headline by Ravi Mohan and also stars Krithi Shetty. Meanwhile, Marshal stars Karthi in the lead, and is directed by Tamizh of Taanakkaran-fame. Through a recent announcement it was revealed that Devadarshini will return to the Kanchana franchise, with Kanchana 4. Vinoth Kishan will be part of an upcoming film, which will be backed by Khushbu Sundar.
