Eariler today, actor Jiiva took to his Instagram to commend the latest film Kinaru, directed by Harikumaran. Jiiva shared a photograph featuring him with the film's director Harikumaran A and its producer Suriya Narayanan. The actor called it "a light-hearted, feel-good film... truly a must-watch." He also gave "a big shout-out to producer Suriya N for making it happen." Kinaru stars Vivek Prasanna and a group of children in the lead roles. The film follows a group of kids who embark on a quest to build a well. It also stars Kanishkumar, Manoj Kanna, Ashwin, and Sri Hariharan.

The film has hit theatres after its run at the festival circuit, where it won multiple accolades, including at the Indie Fest Film Awards. On the technical front, it has music by Bhuvanesh Selvanesan, cinematography by Gautham Venkatesh, and editing by Gowtham Raj KS. The film with a U/A 7+ rating is produced by Suriya alongside Vinod Sekhar.
