Jiiva takes charge of a wedding, but only chaos ensues in the teaser of Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil. The teaser was unveiled by Karthi on Friday. The film, which marks Jiiva's 45th, is helmed by director Nithish Sahadev of Falimy fame.
The teaser shows a wedding house with a lot of colours and noise, where an unknown issue is introduced. As the problem is unknown, chaos ensues, and a comedy of errors seems to form the rest of the film's plot.
Apart from Jiiva, Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil also has Prathana Nathan, Thambi Ramaiah, Subramani, Jenson Dhivakar, Ilavarasu, Jaiwanth, Savithri, Sasti Pranesh, Subash Kannan, Rajesh Pandian, Manimegalai, Sarjin Kumar, Mohan, Amith Mohan, Sharath, Anuraj OB, Surjith Gopinath and Shajeer P Basheer, among others.
Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil, which was announced in May, wrapped shooting in July and is currently in the post-production stage.
On the technical team, the film has music by Vishnu Vijay, cinematography by Bablu Aju and editing by Arjune Babu. Besides directing, Nithish has also written the story along with Sanjo Joseph and Anuraj OB. Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil is produced by Kannan Ravi and co-produced by Deepak Ravi.
Nithish Sahadev made his directorial debut with the 2023 comedy drama Falimy. The film starred Basil Joseph, Jagadish, Manju Pillai, and Sandeep Pradeep as a dysfunctional family who goes to Varanasi on a pilgrimage. The comedic hurdles they face and the conflicts they resolve on the way make up the rest of the film.
