Actor Ruhani Sharma expressed her joy and gratitude at the audio launch of Mask, calling it a long-awaited and special day. “This is a very special day for me. I’ve been waiting for this moment for two years—to speak in front of Vetri Maaran sir. I’m thankful for his support,” she said.

With the film set to hit theatres on November 21, Ruhani shared her excitement: “The film is coming out in just a few days, and I’m so happy. I’m a huge fan of Vijay Sethupathi sir, and I’m thrilled that he came to wish us. Thanks to all the media friends for your support.”

She went on to appreciate the film’s team for their constant encouragement. “I’m grateful to director Vikarnan for giving me a wonderful role, and to my co-star Kavin, who was very supportive throughout—it was a pleasure working with him. Andrea is an incredible actor and now a producer too—I wish her many more great projects. GV Prakash has composed songs that made me want to dance, and I thank our cinematographer for making me look beautiful,” she said with a smile.

A heist thriller, Mask also stars Bala Saravanan, VJ Archana Chandhoke, and Charlie in key roles. Andrea is also producing the film under her The Show Must Go On banner alongside Black Madras Films' SP Chockalingam. Vetri Maaran, who serves as a mentor for the film, is also a previous producer for it. The Vada Chennai filmmaker was attached to the project to produce it through his banner Grass Roots Film Company before the company's closure.

Ruhani Sharma was last seen in the Hindi comedy thriller, Blackout. She made her acting debut with the Tamil film Kadaisi Bench Karthi. Mask marks her sophomore Tamil outing.
