Sudha Kongara's much-awaited film Parasakthi, headlined by Sivakarthikeyan, Sreeleela and Ravi Mohan in lead roles, had recently wrapped filming and has been swifly progressing with the film's post production works. With just two months to go for release, the lead actors have now begun to dub for their roles. The first in the list is Ravi Mohan who has picked up the mic to complete dubbing for his intense role as the political drama's key antagonist. This is the first time the actor will be donning the villain's coat.

Set in the 1960s, Parasakthi is a period film that reportedly revolves around the Anti-Hindi agitations in Tamil Nadu that happened in 1965. Apart from the lead cast, the film is also expected to feature Rana Daggubati in a pivotal role, although the makers have not confirmed his casting. The film also marks Sreeleela's Tamil debut.

Parasakthi is Sudha Kongara's fourth film after Drohi, Irudhi Suttru, and Soorarai Potru. Sudha has written the film along with Arjun Nadesan, with additional screenplay by Ganeshaa and dialogues by Madhan Karky and Shan Karuppusamy.

GV Prakash Kumar is composing music for the film, reuniting with Sudha Kongara after Soorarai Potru, with lyrics written by Yugabarathi, Ekadesi, Arivu, Kaber Vasuki, Jayashree Mathimaran, Ramajogayya Sastry, and Bhaskar Batla.

The crew of the film includes Ravi K Chandran as the cinematographer, Sathish Surya as the editor, S Annadurai as the art director, and Supreme Sundar as the action choreographer. Aakash Baskaran is producing the film under his Dawn Pictures banner. Dev Ramnath is serving as the creative producer along with MP Senthel and Rhea Kongara as serving as executive producers. Red Giant Movies are distributing the film.
