Kavin, who was last seen in Kiss, and is currently awaiting the release of his much-anticipated film Mask where he stars alongside Andrea Jeremiah. While major details regarding the film's plot have been kept under wraps, the Star actor shared a few details about his role in it and expressed his excitement for audience's reaction to the film.

In a recent interview with Cineulagam, Kavin said he was drawn by his unique character in the film. "I always think I should be working on varied roles in every film. This film too has a unique disguise in it...acting as a good man. At certain points in their life, everyone pretends to be a good person. After all, we all are humans. This was different for me," he said, stating that audiences can see a "raw" and intense character from him. "He won't have filters within him which is another reason why I really liked this character," he added.

Additionally, Kavin mentioned that he chose the script as it had a "fullfilling" climax portion of about 20 minutes. "When we hear a story, we also see how it lands in its final moments. In that way, I felt that the last 20 minutes were very fulfilling," he noted.

Written and directed by debutant Vikarnan Ashok, the cast of Mask also includes Ruhani Sharma, Bala Saravanan, VJ Archana Chandhoke, and Charlie.

Andrea is also producing the film under her The Show Must Go On banner alongside Black Madras Films' SP Chockalingam. Vetri Maaran, who serves as a mentor for the film, is also a previous producer for it.
