Actor Kavin is set to appear on the big screen with choreographer and first-time director Satish Krishnan’s Kiss, opposite Preethi Asrani, this Friday. As part of a promotional interview for the film with Galatta Plus, Kavin revealed some details about his other upcoming films, one titled Mask and another, a yet-to-be-titled film, with Nayanthara. The actor revealed that Mask stars him as a character with a deeper grey shade as compared to his roles from his previous films Dada and Star. The actor said that Dada and Star feature him in light grey-shaded roles as opposed to Mask. The actor shared that he found the aforesaid aspect of his character in Mask to be something new for him. Debut director Vikarnan Ashok’s film, Mask also stars Andrea Jeremiah in an important role, alongside Ruhani Sharma, Charlie, Bala Saravanan, and VJ Archana Chandhoke.
On the other hand, Kavin revealed that his untitled film with Nayanthara is “a normal love story, a family entertainer.” At the same time, he dismissed the speculation about it being a love story between a youngster and a woman who is older than him.
In July last year, Kavin and Nayanthara shared a photograph of them looking at each other in a seemingly romantic way, sparking speculation about their collaboration in an upcoming film. They tagged each other in the image and wrote ‘Hi’ as the caption. Reportedly, Vishnu Edavan is directing the film, which marks Kavin and Nayanthara’s first collaboration. Kavin’s recent revelation is the first piece of information to come out of anyone associated with the film after the unveiling of the aforesaid photograph. As Kiss is set to storm the screens this week, we can expect further details about the project anytime soon from official sources.
