Vishnu Vishal suggests actors to "reduce renumeration" to make successful films

Aaryan, directed by Praveen K, also stars Shraddha Srinath, Maanasa Choudhary, and Selvaraghavan in prominent roles

Actor-producer Vishnu Vishal, who headlines the recent mystery thriller Aaryan has provided a suggestion to leading actors who want to be part of successful films.

Speaking at the thanksgiving meet of the film, when a reporter pointed out that he had given three hits as a producer and was asked to provide suggestions to other producers in the field, he said, "I won't make that suggestion to producers. I will only say that to the heroes and artistes who are here. Please reduce your remuneration. It is only then that we can spend on the making of a film. That is all I want to say."

Director and producer SP Sakthivel welcomed the statement. Quoting a clip of the actor answering the question, Sakthivel on X remarked, "Finally , Much needed CHANGE!"

Aaryan, directed by Praveen K, is currently screening in theatres with a slightly reduced runtime after the team received feedback from audience who pointed out the dip in the pace of the film during its climactic portions.

The film stars Vishnu Vishal as a cop once again to hunt a serial killer who discloses the name of the victim he is set to kill, exactly one hour before the crime is to take place. Released in theatres on October 31, the movie met with mixed reviews.

Vishnu Vishal is joined by actors Shraddha Srinath, Maanasa Choudhary, and Selvaraghavan in prominent roles in Aaryan while Sai Ronak, Tarak Ponnappa, Mala Parvathi, Avinash, and Abishek Joseph George play supporting roles. The film's technical crew comprises Harish Kannan as cinematographer, Ghibran as composer and editor San Lokesh. Produced by Vishnu Vishal's Vishnu Vishal Studioz, Aaryan is penned by the actor's FIR collaborator Manu Anand.
