A while ago, actor Dhanush took to Instagram to share pictures from his son Yathra's convocation ceremony. Yathra recently graduated from American International School Chennai. The pictures show Yathra hugging his parents, Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth. In the caption of the post, Dhanush wrote "proud parents."
For the uninitiated, a family court in Chennai granted divorce to Dhanush and Aishwarya in November last year. The couple announced their separation a couple of years before. Despite the separation, they continue to co-parent their sons, Yathra and Linga.
On the work front, Dhanush has multiple projects at various stages of production. He is waiting for the release of the Tamil-Telugu bilingual Kuberaa, directed by Sekhar Kammula, on June 20; Idly Kadai, which reunites him with his Thiruchitrambalam co-star Nithya Menen, on October 01; and Tere Ishk Mein which brings him back together with his Raanjhanaa director Anand L Rai, on November 28. He also has D56, a film with Mari Selvaraj, an Ilaiyaraaja biopic with his Captain Miller director Arun Matheswaran, and an Abdul Kalam biopic with director Om Raut in Hindi.
On the other hand, Aishwarya last directed Lal Salaam, starring Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in lead roles and Rajinikanth in an extended cameo.
