Late actor Daniel Balaji's last film, RPM, got its motion poster recently. The makers made an announcement about the trailer on Friday.

The trailer launch event will be taking place on Saturday at 3 PM. The event is also set to honour the memory of the late actor.

Daniel Balaji, who was last seen in Mithran R Jawahar's Ariyavan (2023), will be seen in the central role in this film, which will have a posthumous release.

In an earlier conversation with CE, the film's director, Prasad Prabhakar, said, "RPM is a suspense thriller based on criminals operating under the guise of packers and movers. We are selective about who gets access to our bedroom and bathroom. But among those who can enter are the packers and movers. What if their intentions are not good? That is the crux of the film."

He also added that he has already planned a sequel to the film that will explore the origins of why Daniel Balaji's character does what he does in the first part.

Backed by singer Kalpana Raghavendar, RPM also features Kovai Sarala, YG Mahendran, Ilavarasu, and Devadarshini in key roles. The film’s technical crew includes music composer Sebastian Rozario, editor Antony, and cinematographer Aniyan Chitrasala.

The film is set to be released this summer.
