Wishing director Lokesh Kanagaraj on his birthday, actor Karthi shared pictures of him with the filmmaker along with producer SR Prabhu.

Karthi captioned the post 'Dilli Returns' and wished the director. This got the Kollywood fans excited about Kaithi 2, the sequel to Karthi-Lokesh's 2019 film Kaithi. It is expected that the sequel will take off later this year.

Meanwhile, Karthi, who was last seen in Prem Kumar's Meiyazhagan and in a cameo appearance in Suriya starrer Kanguva, is busy with Vaa Vaathiyaar and Sardar 2. Lokesh Kanagaraj, who last directed Vijay starrer Leo, is working on Coolie, led by Rajinikanth, along with an array of stars such as Sathyaraj, Nagarjuna, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, and Shruti Haasan. Actors Aamir Khan and Pooja Hegde are expected to be seen making cameo appearances. While the makers have made it official that Pooja will be seen in a cameo, Aamir Khan's presence is yet to be confirmed.
