Actor Dheekshith Shetty, an emerging talent in the Kannada film industry, is all set to make his Tamil debut with director Ram Venkat.

The untitled film was launched on Thursday with a formal pooja in a temple. The film will be produced by G Sara of the Sri Saravana Film Arts, which previously made Pithala Maathi, starring Umapathy Ramaiah.

Dheekshith made his debut with Dia in 2020. He went on to make films such as KTM (2024) and Blink (2024), and Telugu films Mugguru Monagallu (2021), The Rose Villa (2021), and the Nani-led Dasara (2023). Apart from that, he has also starred in several short films.

His upcoming films include Sheegrameva Kalyana Prapthirasthu, Strawberry, Bank of Bhagyalakshmi, King Jackie Queen (Telugu), The Girlfriend (Telugu), and Oppees.

Starring alongside Dheekshith are popular TV actors Amit Bhargav and Aysha. Venkateshwar will be serving as the cinematographer. Details such as the plot, rest of the cast, and crew are yet to be revealed.
