After wrapping shoot in mid-February, Mari Selvaraj and the team behind Bison, starring Dhruv Vikram in the lead, has kickstarted the promotions for the much-awaited film. To begin it all, a first look poster is set to be unveiled on March 7. While a few posters have been released over the last year, Dhruv Vikram's face has been kept hidden.

Announced in early 2024, Bison is expected to revolve around Kabaddi. The film marks Mari Selvaraj's fifth directorial after Pariyerum Perumal (2018), Karnan (2021), Maamannan (2023), and Vaazhai (2024). Bison is Dhruv's third release after Adithya Varma (2019) and Mahaan (2022).

Apart from Dhruv Vikram, Bison also stars Anupama Parameswaran, Lal, Pasupathy, Kalaiyarasan, Rajisha Vijayan, Hari Krishnan, Azhagam Perumal, and Aruvi Madhan, among others.

The film is backed by Applause Entertainment and Pa Ranjith's Neelam Studios. On the technical team, the film has music by Nivas K Prasanna, cinematography by Ezhil Arasu, and editing by Sakthi Thiru.

A release date is yet to be announced by the makers.
