PC Sreeram's early review for Ram's Paranthu Po describes the film as "liberating" and "outstanding"

As director Ram's Paranthu Po, starring Shiva, Mitul Ryan and Grace Antony gears up for release, a wave of anticipation has caught audiences and industry professionals as the emminent director's film hits the big screens six years after Mammootty's Peranbu (2019).

Acclaimed cinematographer PC Sreeram has shared his early review for Paranthu Po. His post read, "A outstanding and a liberating film by Dir Ram. Audience will fall in love with cinema again."

Earlier, director Abishan Jeevinth, who had recently helmed the critically and commercially acclaimed Tourist Family, mentioned that his heart became full after watching the film. "Beautifully balanced with humour and deep emotions. It truly stays with you. Please don’t miss this gem in theatres," he added.

Slated for release in theatres on July 4, the ensemble cast for the film also includes Anjali, Aju Varghese, Vijay Yesudas, Dia, Jesse Kukku, Balaji Sakthivel, and Sreeja Ravi. The music and background score was composed by Santhosh Dhayanidhi and Yuvan Shankar Raja.

The rest of the technical crew of the film includes NK Ekhambaram as the director of photography, Mathi VS as the editor, Kumar Gangappan as the production designer, and Stunt Silva as the stunt master. Ram, V Gunasekaran, V Karupuchaamy, and V Shankar are producting the film. JioHotstar, GKS Bros Production, and Seven Seas Seven Hills Productions are backing the film.

Paranthu Po was screened in the International Film Festival Rotterdam in February this year. Meanwhile, Ram's other film Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai is also awaiting release after earning rave reviews during its screening at Rotterdam. The film stars Nivin Pauly, Anjali and Soori in lead roles.
