Spam content has been appearing on singer-actor Shruti Haasan's X account over the last few hours. The pinned post on her account involves promotion for a product called memecoin and urging the followers to subscribe to it as and when it becomes available. However, Shruti has taken to her Instagram Stories to confirm that her X account has been hacked. "Hi lovelies, just want to let you know my Twitter account has been hacked. That's not me posting. So do not interact with that page till I'm back please," Shruti wrote.

Shruti Haasan recently made headlines through her song and on-stage performance of the song 'Vinveli Nayaga' from Thug Life, starring her actor-father Kamal Haasan, and directed by Mani Ratnam. She has multiple projects at various stages of production, including Coolie where she collaborates with Rajinikanth for the first time and Train with Vijay Sethupathi. Meanwhile, she also makes her acting debut in English with The Eye, a psychological thriller that stars her as a grieving woman. The Daphne Schmon directorial also stars Mark Rowley, opposite Shruti.
