When asked about his dream car, the actor mentioned the McLaren Senna. “I had been pursuing this car for some time, and recently was fortunate enough to acquire the 20th example out of the 500 total ever built – and that is my dream come true,” he said. Now, Ajith's manager Suresh Chandra officially announced through X that the actor and motor sport enthusiast has bought the car named after Ayrton Senna.

Recently, Ajith visited the Tamburello corner at Imola circuit where Ayrton Senna tragically lost his life and paid his respects to the Formula One World Champion. Ajith has often said that he experiences much contentment from car racing, a sentiment he shares with his idol. In a recent interview, Ajith said that he can find a balance between motor sport and film commitments if he manages to "squeeze a film between the November to February period".
