Ravi Mohan, who was last seen in Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi’s Kadhalikka Neramillai alongside Nithya Menen, has a number of projects in his pipeline. In a recent interview, the actor gave an update about the impending films.

Speaking to Behindwoods, Ravi said, “Shooting for Karathey Babu is nearly completed.” When he was asked about his character in the film, the actor said he had attempted something different in the film. “I constantly strive to try something new and good. Karathey Babu is one such film, and Ganesh is a talented director. This film will be one of the most important films in my career.”

Speaking about Genie, Ravi further said, “Shooting for Genie has been wrapped. The film’s CG work is currently taking place. We are planning to release the film soon.” While he was not able to give a lot of details about Parasakthi, he shared, “I can only say that I have a very important role in the film.”

Helmed by Ganesh K Babu, who made his directorial debut with Dada, Karathey Babu marks Ravi’s 34th film. Daudee Jiwal plays the female lead in the film, which boasts an ensemble comprising KS Ravikumar, Nasser Shakthi Vasudevan, VTV Ganesh, Subramaniam Siva, Kavithalayaa Krishnan, Pradeep Antony, Raja Rani Pandian, Sandeep Raj, Knife Naren, Sindhupriya, Ajith Gosh, Aravindh, Kalki Raja, Sri Dhanya, Anandhi, Ilan, Sam Anderson, Vetrivel, and Nandhini Senthamizh.

Genie is helmed by Arjunan Jr and also stars Kalyani Priyadarshan, Krithi Shetty, and Wamiqa Gabbi in significant roles. Ravi is also a part of Sudha Kongara’s Parasakthi, featuring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role. Atharvaa, Sreeleela, and Basil Joseph, among others, are also a part of the project.

Release dates and plot details are awaited for all of these films.
