Kushboo Sundar appointed as BJP's Vice President in Tamil Nadu

A former DMK member, Kushboo joined BJP after relinquishing her position as the national spokesperson for Congress five years ago

A while ago, Kushboo Sundar took to her X account to announce that she has been appointed as the Vice President of BJP in Tamil Nadu. She shared separate photographs featuring her with Nainar Nagenthiran, President of BJP in the state, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The actor-politician wrote, "I am immensely indebted to our H'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji and our TN State President Nainar Nagenthiran avl for trusting me and giving me the huge responsibility as the Vice President, State of Tamil Nadu." She went on to add that she would put in her best efforts as a representative of BJP in the state. She expressed her gratitude to BL Santhosh, the party's National General Secretary, Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy (National Co-Incharge BJP Tamilnadu State), and the party's Madhya Pradesh representative Arvind Menon.

"My heartiest congratulations to all my colleagues and fellow party workers who have been given the responsibilities to build the party and take the good deeds of the PM to the people of TN," she added.

The party appointed 13 other vice presidents in Tamil Nadu, including M Chakravarthy, Sasikala Pushpa, VP Duraisamy, P Kanagasabapathi, RC Paul Kanagaraj, and Karu Nagarajan. It has appointed Kesava Vinayakan as the state General Secretary.
