On Monday, Tamil actor Tanya Ravichandran took to her official Instagram handle to announce her engagement to cinematographer Goutham George. Sharing a silhouette photo of herself with Goutham, she wrote, "Every frame leads to this - One Kiss, One Promise, “ALWAYS AND FOREVER.'" She further mentioned the #GettingHitched. Details about the wedding date, venue, and more are yet to be disclosed by the couple.

Actors such as Siddhi Idnani of Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu fame and Shivathmika, known for Nitham Oru Vaanam, congratulated the actor in the comments. Goutham George also shared a similar post on his Instagram handle. Tanya and Goutham had not revealed their relationship to the public until yesterday. However, going by their old social media posts and wishes from fellow well-wishers and members of the film fraternity, they seem to have been in a relationship for a while now.

Goutham George has previously cranked the camera for films like Annabelle Sethupathi and Bhoothaddam Bhaskar Narayana. He is currently working on Benz, starring Raghava Lawrence and Nivin Pauly in prominent roles. Helmed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan, the film is produced by Lokesh Kanagaraj's G Squad, along with Sudhan Sundaram's Passion Studios and Jagadish Palanisami's The Route. The film will be a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU).

Tanya Ravichandran, on the other hand, was last seen in Rasavathi, helmed by Santhakumar and co-starring Arjun Das. She currently has Retta Thala and Rekkai Mulaithen in the pipeline. Retta Thala, helmed by Kris Thirukumaran, stars Arun Vijay and Siddhi Idnani in prominent roles. Rekkai Mulaithen is helmed by SR Prabhakaran.

The granddaughter of Malaysian Tamil actor Ravichandran, Tanya made her acting debut with Balle Vellaiyathevaa in 2016. She made her Telugu film acting debut with Raja Vikramarka in 2021. Further, she starred in her first web series, Paper Rocket, in 2022.
