Arun Vijay wraps dubbing for Retta Thala

We had earlier reported that Arun Vijay's upcoming film Retta Thala, directed by Kris Thirukumaran, wrapped shooting in October last year. The latest update from the makers is that Arun Vijay has completed dubbing for his portions.

BTG Universal, the production house backing the film, said, "His voice adds the final layer of intensity to this action-packed entertainer."

Arun Vijay was last seen in Bala's Vanangaan. The film, which released on January 10, mostly received mixed to negative reviews.

Kris has worked with AR Murugadoss in Gajini, Ezham Arivu, Thuppakki and Sarkar. He made his directorial debut with Sivakarthikeyan's Mann Karate (2014), whose script was written by Murugadoss. He then made Gethu (2016), starring Udhayanidhi Stalin, Amy Jackson and Sathyaraj.

Apart from Arun Vijay and Siddhi Idnani, Tanya Ravichandran will also be seen in a prominent role in the film produced by Bobby Balachandran under his banner BTG Universal. Kannada actor Yogesh will be playing the antagonist in Retta Thala, marking his Tamil debut.

The technical crew of Retta Thala consists of music director Sam CS, cinematographer Tijo Tomy, editor Anthony and stunt choreographers Anbariv. The makers are yet to reveal a release date for the film.
