Ahead of its release on January 24, Bottle Radha's trailer announcement has been made by the makers on Thursday.

The trailer glimpse of the film, directed by debutant Dhinakaran Sivalingam, will be dropped on January 18, on Saturday.

The Guru Somasundaram-led film stars Sanchana Natarajan as the female lead, with John Vijay, Lollu Sabha Maaran, and Merku Thodarchi Malai-fame Antony cast in crucial roles.

Guru Somasundaram had five releases last year that included three Malayalam films. He was a part of Bayamariya Brammai; he played the animated character 'Common Man' in Indian 2. In Malayalam, he was part of the star cast of Cup, Barroz: Guardian of D'Gama's Treasure and the anthology film Her.

During an exclusive conversation with CE, Dhinakaran said, "The film is all about hope and humour. Guru sir is playing a mason who lost his life and the people he most prized to his drinking habit. The story is about his redemption."

The technical team of Bottle Radha comprises cinematographer Roopesh, editor Sangathamizhan, and music composer Sean Roldan. The film is made both in Tamil and Malayalam.

Interestingly, in addition to Bottle Radha, Guru Somasundaram is also a part of Manikandan-Rajeshwar Kalisamy's Kudumbasthan, which will be releasing on the same date.
