After the release date got deferred indefinitely, the makers of Ajith Kumar-Magizh Thirumeni's Vidaamuyarchi gave a fresh date for the film's theatrical release along with the trailer on Thursday. Accordingly, the film will be releasing on February 6, a day before the release of Dhanush's directorial Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK).

The trailer, surprisingly, opens with the loving bond shared between the characters played by Ajith and Trisha and we learn it comes under a strain owing to reasons undisclosed, when Ajith says he comes from a generation where if things aren't working people try to fix it and not discard it. The couple faces a testing time in Azerbaijan, where they are apparently holidaying. The narration is expected to tie events from the past and present, going by the trailer.

Vidaamuyarchi also stars Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, and Regina Cassandra in key roles. Recently, the makers of the film added Ramya Subramanian, also known as VJ Ramya, to the cast. The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Om Prakash, editing by NB Srikanth, and action by Supreme Sundar.

Ajith's next with Mark Antony fame Adhik Ravichandran, Good Bad Ugly, will be releasing on April 10, alongside Dhanush's directorial Idli Kadai.
