With director VR Mani Seiyon's Vallan planning for a theatrical release this month with no date specified yet, the makers dropped the lyrical video of 'Kanjaadai Poova' on Saturday.

The fast romantic number is sung by Karthik and Rakshitha Suresh, with Uma Devi penning the lyrics.

The film starring Sundar C in the lead has been in the making since 2022, with a teaser released then, suggestive of a mystery thriller. Vallan also stars Tanya Hope, Hebah Patel, Kamal Kamaraj, Abirami Venkatachalam, Chandhini Tamilarasan, Thalaivasal Vijay, Jayakumar and TSK.

Vallan is produced by VR Manikandaraman and V Gayathri under the VR Della Film Factory banner. The film's technical crew comprises cinematographer Mani Perumal, music composer Santhosh Dhayanidhi, editor Dinesh Ponraj and art director Sakthee Venkatraj M.

Meanwhile, Sundar C's directorial Madha Gaja Raja (MGR), which has been awaiting release since 2013, will finally release in theatres on January 12 for the Pongal festival.
