Prior to Sabdham's theatrical release, a making video shot behind the scenes of the film was released by its makers. The video shows elaborate sets being built for the film and extensive filming for the movie being planned with miniatures. The movie is directed by Arivazhagan, who reunites with Aadhi after Eeram (2009), which was Arivazhagan's directorial debut.

Sabdham stars Aadhi as a paranormal investigator and Lakshmi Menon as a doctor who delves into a chilling sequence of events. Simran, Laila, Redin Kingsley, MS Bhaskar, Rajiv Menon, Vivek Prasanna and TSR Srinivasan also star in the movie.

The technical team consists of Thaman composing music and lyrics written by Viveka, Arun Bathmanabhan as the director of photography, Sabu Joseph VJ doing the editing, Manoj Kumar as the art director, and Stunner Sam handling the stunt department.

Sabdham, produced by 7G Siva under his 7G Banner, is set to release theatrically on February 28.
