Sivakarthikeyan is having an eventful birthday, the first after the massive success of Rajkumar Periasamy's Amaran and several announcements are being made for his upcoming films. Wishes have been pouring from friends, fans and his directors.

Sudha Kongara who is currently working with Sivakarthikeyan for her upcoming film Parasakthi took to X to write a heartwarming note for the actor. She wrote, "Happy bday hero! Sivakartikeyan. You are an absolute delight to work with cos finally it’s the journey and the company that makes one want to continue making cinema! (sic)"

The much-anticipated multi-starrer marks her first collaboration with Sivakarthikeyan and the actor's landmark 25th project. The period drama also stars Sreeleela in her Tamil debut, Ravi Mohan, and Atharvaa.

The BTS video showcases Sivakarthikeyan in a stylish avatar inside a college campus as he is on the brink of creating a revolution.

The teaser, which was released last month, hinted at a film that revolves around student politics in old Madras. Sreeleela and Atharvaa play characters in the film's period portions. On the other hand, Ravi Mohan seems to portray a role with an old score to settle with Sivakarthikeyan's character. The teaser shows a scene where Ravi Mohan's character fires at a picture of Sivakarthikeyan's character, like in a target practice drill in law enforcement.

The technical team of Parasakthi includes composer GV Prakash Kumar, cinematographer Ravi K Chandran, editor Sathish Suriya, and action choreographer Supreme Sundar. Ganeshaa is credited for additional screenplay for Parasakthi, while Madhan Karky and Shan Karuppusamy are credited as additional dialogue writers.

The film is produced by Aakash Baskaran under the banner Dawn Pictures. The makers are yet to announce a release date for the film.

Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan is also working on AR Murugadoss' upcoming action film whose title was also revealed on his birthday as Madharasi. The film also stars Rukmini Vasanth, Vikranth, Vidyut Jammwal, Shabeer Kallarakkal, and Biju Menon.
