Prabhu Deva's Michael Musasi gets a release window

The film marks the directorial debut of Sam Rodrigues

Prabhu Deva's upcoming film Michael Musasi is all set to be released in theatres in March. The film, which has been in the making for for sometime now, marks the directorial debut of Sam Rodrigues. Besides Prabhudeva, the film also stars Master Mahendran, John Vijay, and VTV Ganesh, Binu Papu, and Leona Leeshoy.

A prevue video, which was released last year, features Prabhudeva as an IPS officer, in an action-packed avatar, wielding guns and engaging in intense combat.

On the technical team, the film has music composed by Leander Lee Marty, Vignesh Vasu will handle the cinematography, and Anthony will edit the film. Musasi is backed by John Britto under the Joy Film Box Entertainment banner. Apart from Tamil, the film will also be released in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

Prabhu Deva was last seen in the recent Hindi film Badass Ravi Kumar, directed by Keith Gomes. In Tamil, he was last seen in Sakthi Chidambaram's comedy entertainer Jolly O Gymkhana. His upcoming films include Kathanar – The Wild Sorcerer, Flashback, Singanallur Signal and Maharagni- Queen of Queens, among others.
