After facing a long delay, Yamakaathagi, starring Roopa Koduvayur in her Tamil debut, is all set for release on March 7. The actor is known for her roles in Telugu films Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya (2001) and Mr Pregnant (2003).

Billed as a supernatural thriller, Yamakaathagi is directed by Peppin George Jayaseelan and produced by Sujith Sarang and Sreejith Sarang under their banner, the Sarang Brothers. Apart from bankrolling the film, the brothers duo will also be handling the cinematography and edits, respectively.

Apart from Roopa, the film stars Narendra Prasath, Haritha, Geetha Kailasam and Subash Ramasamy.
