Pa Ranjith flags caste-based atrocities against Dalits in TN to CM Stalin

His response came to the recent video address of Chief Minister Stalin, where he answered people's questions on the Union Budget, alliance parties and sexual assault cases

Noted filmmaker and one of the responsible voices against social ills, Pa Ranjith, has brought to the notice of Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister, MK Stalin, about the caste atrocities against Dalits in the state under his regime.

Ranjith took to his social media and wrote, "The violence rooted in caste discrimination has been taking place unabated. Too many reports of Dalits getting attacked in Tamil Nadu have emerged in the past few days. Leave alone measures taken to stop this; do you (Stalin) even acknowledge that this is happening?"

He added that he is even ready to compile a report of such occurrences and submit it to the Dalit MLAs and MPs and to the Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department.
