On Tuesday, the makers of Jiiva's Aghathiyaa unveiled the film's trailer. Helmed by Pa Vijay, the film also stars Arjun and Raashi Khanna in prominent roles.

Aghathiyaa follows the story of a man who is haunted by the spirits of people who lived 120 years ago. He believes that these spirits are trying to communicate with him through art. He is determined to uncover the secrets of these spirits and learn more about their past. The trailer is full of suspense, mystery and eerie elements.

Edward Sonnenblick, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, and Redin Kingsley are also a part of the upcoming film's cast. Ishari K Ganesh of Vels Film International and Aneesh Arjun Dev's Wam India are the producers of Aghathiyaa.

Aghathiyaa is Pa Vijay's third directorial venture, after Strawberry (2015) and Aaruthra (2018). He doubled up as a writer in these two films, besides serving just as a writer in Gnabagangal (2009) and the Tamil dialogue writer for the Telugu film Rudhramadevi (2015).

Aghathiyaa's technical crew comprises music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematographer Dipak Kumar Padhy, editor San Lokesh, stunt choreographer K Ganesh, and dance choreographer Sridhar.

Aghathiyaa is all set to hit theatres on February 28.
