The makers of Goundamani's upcoming political satire Otha Votu Muthaiya unveiled the trailer glimpse of the film on Thursday.

The glimpse shows Goundamani's character in a tussle with his political rival, played by OAK Sundar. The reason for the friction and how low they stoop to settle scores is not known. The glimpse also features Yogi Babu. The trailer mostly makes a parody of several real-life political incidents in Tamil Nadu.

Apart from Goundamani, OAK Sundar and Yogi Babu, the film also stars Mottai Rajendran, Santhana Bharathi, Chitra Lakshman, Singamuthu, Sendrayan and Payilvan Ranganthan.

With Goundamani not as active as he was owing to his age, he was only a part of five films in the previous decade: Jaggubhai (2010), Pollachi Mappillai (2010), 49-O (2015), Enakku Veru Engum Kilaigal Kidayathu (2016) and Vaaimai (2016), with Othu Votu Muthaiya being his first film in almost a decade.

Backed by Raviraja ME and Kovai Lakshmi Rajan under the banners Kutti Story Pictures and Cine Craft Production, Otha Votu Muthaiya's technical crew comprises cinematographer SA Kathavarayan, editor Rajasethupathi and music composer Sidharth Vibin.

The details, such as the plot and release date, are yet to be made.
