One day before the much-anticipated release of Ajith Kumar's Vidaamuyarchi, the makers of the action film dropped the third single on Wednesday.

The song titled 'Thaniye' captures the emotions a couple goes under a marital strain. The song is composed and sung by Anirudh and Mohan Rajan wrote the lyrics.

The recently released trailer of Vidaamuyarchi, surprisingly, opens with the loving bond shared between the characters played by Ajith and Trisha, and we learn it comes under a strain owing to reasons undisclosed when Ajith says he comes from a generation where if things aren't working, people try to fix it and not discard it. The couple faces a testing time in Azerbaijan, where they are apparently vacationing. According to the trailer, the narration of the film, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, is expected to tie events from the past and present.

Vidaamuyarchi also stars Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, and Regina Cassandra in key roles. Recently, the makers of the film added Ramya Subramanian, also known as VJ Ramya, to the cast. The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Om Prakash, editing by NB Srikanth, and action by Supreme Sundar.

Vidaamuyarchi, backed by Lyca Productions, is gearing up for release on February 6.
