Actor Arav, who was alongside Ajith Kumar during a high-intensity car stunt for Vidaamuyarchi, has shared details about a harrowing accident on set and the unwavering care Ajith showed afterwards. The superstar not only stayed by Arav’s side but also personally drove him to the hospital to ensure he was safe.

During the filming of an action sequence in Azerbaijan, a behind-the-scenes video capturing the mishap sent shockwaves through the Tamil film industry. The car, with Ajith in the driver’s seat and Arav beside him, lost control and flipped on a deserted highway. Fortunately, there were no injuries.

Reflecting on the incident, Arav recalled, as per a report on IANS, “It was a meticulously planned shot, but something unforeseen happened. However, what followed was truly remarkable.”

Despite the accident, the team decided to continue filming just 30 minutes later. “Ajith sir refused to leave me alone. He personally took me to the hospital and wouldn’t rest until he saw my X-ray report,” Arav shared.

The actor also revealed an emotional moment with Ajith: “He hugged me and apologised. I was left speechless by his kindness and humanity.”

What made Ajith’s dedication even more striking was his resolve the very next day. Despite the previous day’s nerve-racking experience, the star arrived on set well before the shoot began, ensuring that no stand-ins were used for his stunts.

“When I asked him about it, he simply said, ‘My fans expect the best from me, and I shouldn’t cheat them with dupes in action sequences.’ At that moment, I truly understood why he has such a massive fan following,” Arav said.

Directed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Lyca Productions’ Subaskaran, Vidaamuyarchi is set for a grand worldwide release on February 6. The film also stars Trisha, Regina Cassandra, Arjun, Nikhil Nair, and Ganesh Saravanan, among others. The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Om Prakash, editing by NB Srikanth, and action by Supreme Sundar.
