Sun Pictures, the distribution banner behind the Ajith Kumar headliner Mankatha, has teased a rerelease of the film through a new promo video.
The 2010 film was directed by Venkat Prabhu and also starred Trisha, Arjun, Ashwin Kakumanu, Mahat Raghavendra, Vaibhav, Premgi, Andrea Jeremiah, Jayaprakash, Raai Laxmi, Aravind Akash, and Subbu Panchu.
The film broke box office records during the time of its release and was well received by critics and audiences.
Yuvan Shankar Raja's music for the film was also a hit, with the theme music, and several tracks like 'Vilayadu Mankatha', 'Vaada Bin Lada' becoming popular amongst the listeners.
The story of the film is set on a betting racket on cricket, in Mumbai. A heist, a case of missing person, and a gangster, all connect a mysterious individual who is out to make it big.
