With little over ten days to go for the release of Parasakthi, the team has shared a new glimpse titled 'World of Parasakthi' to introduce its characters played by Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa and Sreeleela, among others. Set in the 1960s, Sivakarthikeyan plays Chezhiyan, a leader who fights for a cause while Ravi Mohan portrays Thirunaadan, the antagonist. "When everyone calls me Che, it feels very powerful," Sivakarthikeyan says in the video, while adding, "Despite my character having an intense mission, vision and vulnerabilities, along with strong emotions, it never ceases to entertain."

Ravi Mohan recalls the time when director Sudha Kongara pitched the script to him. "I thought he will never accept it, but one day he called me and told that he is good with it," she says, while Ravi Mohan says, "She thanked me for choosing the script with interest and explained how portraying my character needed guts. She said, 'I gave the script keeping in my mind that you hold within you that guts needed to pull off the character.' At

Atharvaa, who plays Chinnadurai in the movie shares, "When you read a script, you tend to visualise the story and its characters. I can approach my character in hundred different ways. Sudha ma'am told me to take it forward in one particular way." Parallely, Sudha praises Atharvaa for "catching the fiery emotions and physique" needed for the story. She further added that Sreeleela was her first choice as the female lead when the film took off again after Sivakarthikeyan came on board. "I just knew she had to do the role as she holds so much emotion within herself. She was terrific," Sudha says, while Sreeleela adds, "It wasn't just any other period role. She was layered, emotional and way ahead of time. We also took dialect classes."
