Over the last few months, many public figures have been reacting strongly against the propagation of false information on social media with the help of artificial intelligence. Sreeleela is the latest film personality to share her concerns about the misuse of AI. A while ago, the actor took to X and shared a note expressing her concerns. She wrote, "I put my hands together and request every social media user not to support AI-generated nonsense. There is a difference between using and abusing technology. Advancements in technology are meant to simplify life, not complicate it, in my opinion."

The actor argued that the abuse of AI and technology is posing a safety threat to artists like her in the film industry. "Every girl out there is a daughter, granddaughter, sister, friend, or colleague, even if she chooses art as one of her professions. We wish to be part of an industry that spreads joy, with the confidence that we are in a protected environment," the actor shared.

Sreeleela explained that her busy work schedule has kept her from being in the loop about things that happen online and expressed her gratitude to her well-wishers for informing her of the same. The actor called the misuse of technology "disturbing and devastating" and said that her colleagues in the film industry echo this sentiment. "I am reaching out on behalf of everyone," she wrote.

She ended her note by saying that authorities will do the needful to prevent such acts on the internet in the future.

On the work front, Sreeleela's upcoming films include director Sudha Kongara's Parasakthi, opposite Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan, and Atharvaa, and Harish Shankar's Ustaad Bhagat Singh, co-starring Pawan Kalyan. Meanwhile, there is also speculation about her Hindi debut.
