Suraj Venjaramoodu wraps his portions in Dhanush-Vignesh Raja's D54

The film also stars Mamitha Baiju in the female lead

Earlier, we reported about Dhanush joining director Vignesh Raja of Por Thozhil fame for a film, which marks the 54th film in the actor's career. The other day, Suraj Venjaramoodu, who plays a role in the film, tentatively titled D54, shared a still featuring him with Dhanush and announced through social media that he has wrapped his portions in it. The actor also expressed his gratitude to Dhanush, Vignesh Raja, cinematographer Theni Eswar, and the rest of the team behind the film.

Ishari K Ganesh is producing the film through his banner Vels Film International. It also stars Mamitha Baiju in the female lead. Jayaram, KS Ravikumar, Prithvi Pandiarajan, Karunas, and Nithin Sathya are also part of the film's cast.

On the technical front, D54 also has music by GV Prakash Kumar and editing by Sreejith Sarang. The makers are yet to reveal any details about the film's plot and characters. Recently, they dropped a poster giving a first look at Dhanush's character in the film. It shows Dhanush standing in the middle of a field with fire approaching him from one end. "Sometimes, staying dangerous is the only way to stay alive," the makers wrote as the caption for the D54 first-look poster.

Suraj Venjaramoodu recently made his debut in Tamil cinema with a key role in Chithha director SU Arun Kumar's Veera Dheera Sooran - Part 2, also starring Vikram, Dushara Vijayan, and SJ Suryah, among others. The actor is reportedly part of the cast of Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and starring Rajinikanth in the lead role. His upcoming films also include Varaham, directed by Sanal V Devan and starring Suresh Gopi, and his Kannada debut DAD alongside Shivarajkumar.
