With Google revealing its annual Year in Search, it has revealed that the Rajinikanth-starrer Coolie is the third most search for film of 2025. Lokesh Kanagaraj directed Coolie on was released on August 15, on the 50th anniversary of Rajinikanth's time in Indian cinema.

Coolie occupies the third position of the most searched films of 2025, preceded by Saiyaara and Kantara: Chapter 1.

Also among the list are Game Changer and Mahavatar Narasimha, in the eighth and tenth position.

Coolie also starred Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, Upendra, Sathyaraj, and Rachita Ram, among others.

The film followed the story of a former port labourer, whose past returns to haunt him.
