On Monday, actor-producer Vishal took to his official X handle to pen the review of the latest ZEE5 crime thriller series, Regai. Starring Bala Hasan and Pavithra Janani in lead roles, the series is adapted from Rajesh Kumar's crime novel.

In his review of the series, Vishal wrote, "Ever since childhood, we’ve all grown up admiring the legendary crime writer and director Rajesh Kumar. Recently, I watched #Regai on ZEE5, and it’s truly one of his most gripping thrillers. Brilliantly crafted, engaging, and packed with the classic Rajesh Kumar intensity we all love. Heartiest congratulations to my dear friend, producer Singa, and the entire cast and crew on this venture." (sic)

Regai is written, directed and created by Dhinakaran M. The plot follows Bala Hasan's SI character, Vetri, and Pavithra Janani's constable, who look into the mysterious death of an ice-cart vendor.
